How does evidence from fossils shows us that the planet changed?
One reason is because Palm trees used to grow in Antarctica but it is to cold there so that must mean it used to be closer to the equator and the ancient Agathis tree used to grow in South America, Antarctica, Africa, and Australia but now only grows in Australia so that must mean the continents were connected. Also a salamander that was originated in Asia but are now found almost all over the world. The Pampaphoneus lived all over the world before it went extinct.

Anceint Agathis Tree (Evergreen Tree)
The Agathis tree was found in Australia and New Zealand. This tree has been living for 52.2 million years. It stayed around because, the climate was just right, it wasn't to cold or it wasn't hot. The Agathis tree is still living today. When pangea broke up it couldent survive in many countries. It couldent survive in north america because it was to dry, It couldent survive in Antartica because it was to cold.
